African Travel Desk is a 100% African owned, Cape Town Hotel School and Rhodes University trained duo with worldly practical experience, from working as snow boarding instructors in the USA to concierging in some of Cape Towns finest hotels, our knowledge and experiences cover all sectors of the travel & hospitality industry.

| Athini has been in the Hospitality industry since 2003 where he got his very first job as a chef at the famed Bay Hotel in Camps Bay, he has since worked his way through the travel and hospitality industry doing various jobs all over the world. Athini has worked He has a passion for travelling, photography and sushi. |
Sam has been travelling to one destination or the next his whole life. Landing in Cape Town, he worked for several years as Programmes Manager for SASTS (South African Students Travel Services), one of South Africa’s leading youth travel companies. He focuses on online entrepreneurship, communications and technology but is mostly passionate about his football and travels. It comes as no surprise that his next destination is Brazil. |
Our duo has extensive personal travel experience and over 15 years work experience in the youth and adventure travel industry. As an organisation we have successfully hosted and managed large groups such as Howard University, University of Southern California, Silver Leaf Events and others.
Our Aim is to become one of South Africa’s prime travel organisations.
